What you will learn
Pinciples
of Lomi
All moves, strokes and body runs in Lomi are based on a set of principles. These principles will help you understand how Lomi works and they can be a very valuable inspiration for you if you practice any other massage style.
Lomi Flow
Demonstration
In a 20 minutes flow I will show how these principles look like in practice. It will give you a sense of how the two strokes, that we will see in more detail afterwards, integrate into whole. And you will see the importance of the dance that we will dance at the end of the event.
Strokes and
full body runs
I'll go into more detail on 2 moves. 1.: Full body run on the back; 2.: Stroke with both arms on the lower leg in prone position.
Flying -
the dance
In Temple Style Lomi, we are moving all the time. The "Flying" is the basis for this movement which facilitates the fluidity and smoothness of the massage. We will dance the "Flying", and discover the rich imagery of this dance.
